SIGN LANGUAGE ALPHABET
I have just began a series which will feature the alphabet spelled out in ASL - American Sign Language. I will be making a print for each letter of the alphabet using Finger Spelling signs for each letter.
I have chosen ASL Finger Spelling, as all of these signs are done with one hand, and aesthetically work well for this project.
As the signs for letters J and Z have some movement to them, I plan to work with triptych (three parts) and tetraptych (four parts) to show the full movements to these signs.
